I can't believe how time flies by. I have been feeling under the weather since last Tuesday and wish I could do things faster than I can. So much to do and so little time!!!

I leave you here with some happy goodness. This layout was created by this young lady named Kelly. She has a great story behind the tree. I feel that the stories mean so much more than the art we put together girls. Remember to journal your stories!!!!

Oh my, I love this mesh stuff. I went crazy using it when it first came it. It was a huge craze in Puerto Rico and man oh man, them women created some amazing designs with this kind of mesh!

I am really feeling lousy this morning, but thinking about Christmas keeps my spirits up. So on ward and forward my friends!

Day 3

Well gotta share here: I had such a lovely time last night with some amazing women. My sister Beth decided to host a PJ party with some wonderful OLD friends. My goodness, we have laughed so hard, and cried a little bit too. I guess great friendships are based on bad and good and as the years go by you can reflect how the bad truly formed us and made us stronger and better people. Anyway, enough reflection here...suffice it to be said that the evening and MORNING was spent with magnificent ladies. (I will post pictures on my December Daily entry on Monday).

Now let me leave you with some Pink Goodness for the Holiday season.

These vintage wreaths really do remind me of my childhood. My mom had white and bluish ones too. Gotta love a pink room with Damask curtains. Very whimsical and happy if you ask me. :)

This is really pretty. I really like the glass dome. You can put just about anything in them and decorate a simple glass vehicle with whatever color scheme you want.

I am fighting a really bad allergy going on here. It seems to get worse every day. Send a prayer up for me peeps as lots of holiday stuff needs to be done here.

Thanksgiving Day 2012

Thanksgiving Day was absolutely amazing. What a fantastic time we had. The people, the food and weather....pretty perfect.

My aunt outdid herself once again and to be truthful, this was the best Thanksgiving ever!!! We had such an amazing turnout this year...81 in attendance. We are so blessed to be able to have our family and friends with us. TRULY BLESSED!

I hope your day was as blessed as ours!

Isn't this just beautiful? I love thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite holidays. It is great to see so many of our family members and some amazing friends congregate every year at this spectacular event. My aunt Celina is the hostess and she truly does an amazing job. I can not wait to see what she has in store for us this year...will absolutely share photos later.

THE HOLIDAYS ARE NEAR!!!!

Wow...the holiday's are almost upon us. I can not believe it!!!
So much change! I guess it's all good. I have been creating up a storm. I thought I was done for the year....I GUESS NOT!!! LOL. Lots of new projects being created on a daily basis here. I think I have come to terms that I am my most creative when I am under pressure. Sigh...I am not sure if I really like that. I shall have to think about that...but not now...have too much going on.
Anyway, let me share a LO I found from the talented Ms. NIKKI. Gotta tell you, she got me all inspired here! Love the flowers...well, I just kind of love it all! Hope this inspires you to work on something for the upcoming season.

Now, I have got the share this little bit of delight. My funny and baker extraordinaire friend Rhonda shared these babies with me. They were really fun to make and actually more fun to eat!!! For those of you who know me...I HATE TO BAKE...but gotta tell you these were super easy to make. I have no idea where she got this originally from but it's super easy to do!

I am trying to finish off several pending engagements to begin the Holiday Season festivities. I am so looking forward to the Holidays this year. REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THEM. I am looking forward to seeing the cousins, cousins kids, the aunts, uncles, and in-laws. I associate the holidays with family...and that is a good happy thought for me.

I am so sad...

I have lost a friend this week and my heart is so heavy. I feel such sadness and the truth is that I breakdown in the craziest places. I had a crying fit in the super market at the Deli...started crying like a baby at school last night...I am so sad.
I grew up in church. That is something we say and sometimes don't even realize the impact it has in our lives. I was a Pastor's Kid and when we moved to Florida was involved in my church to the extent that our friends and social life really did revolve around our church friends. They were our extended family.
We had an amazing youth group who ranged from college bound students to very young funny juveniles.
I met this kid named Hector..he was such a nice puertorican kid. When I say nice...I really mean NICE. This kid was always happy, had a smile on his face and really was a peace maker. He was such a NICE PERSON. I know I keep saying that but that is what comes to mind. He was extremely funny..always coming out with these puertorican sayings...
Hector moved away....
we all grew up....
lead different lives...got married, some got divorced and we lived....
Hector would pop into my life and call me every couple of years. We had not seen in other in wow...I can't even remember...He would call me out of the blue...we would talk forever and then he would disappear and come back and we would catch up.
He was so positive, always dreaming and trying to better himself. He was always setting goals...and meeting them...as we know that is a rare thing today.
Hector dreamed big and I am so proud to say that he accomplished so many of his dreams. He was successful...
He loved to fly...it was one if not the passion of his life.

Hector and I had been planning a dinner here in my home because he was coming to visit next week. He wanted to introduce me to his wife, he wanted to see the gang. He was so excited. I was getting the gang together and we were going to catch up, eat and laugh...that is what we do best....

I got a call yesterday and they inform me that Hector has passed away. I am not sure how I took it...but I think I raised my voice...I was in shock. I can't believe it. Here I am planning a get together and now I am mourning.

I have spoken several times to his beautiful brother Alex in the last 24 hours. The truth is I pray that this family can find peace and some comfort during this horrible time.

Unfortunately, my sweet friend Hector was involved in an airplane accident where a bad storm was involved and their plane went down in the state of Oregon. Hector, his wife and the pilot passed away.

I ask you my bloggie friends, to please pray for the Moreno family. They have suffered quite a bit in the last several years. So please keep mentioning their names in the Lord's presence.

I am having a bit of difficulty here as I am coming to terms with losing a dear friend. Although I take comfort that we will meet again because I know he is in OUR FATHER'S ARMS...the loss to us is quite painful.

Once again, I come to terms how fragile life is. I continue to feel that we truly do not understand how precious and short life truly is.

Hold your loved one's a little tighter today and make sure you call your friends...and let them know that they mean the world to you.

Going down MEMORY LANE...Bitter....sweet

Have you ever gone back through your albums or altered projects and said: "wow...I love this"!!!! Yet, when you look at that project it brings back other memories? Bitter...sweet...memories.

I was organizing my albums and mini album bin and came across the following. As I looked at the page and album below, it made me realize that although I was seeing and remembering a great memory, a totally different memory had become attached to these projects.

This LO is of my two kids. I loved this picture because at the time, my daughter was not the sweetest little dumpling on the planet towards her brother...so this picture truly captured my heart. We spent the day out on a picnic and on the water with my side of the family and friends. We had such a fantastic day at Biscayne Park in Homestead, Florida. Unfortunately, we did not have telephone reception in the area, (although we had no idea that was the case) and when we left the park that day around 6pm, we started getting an alarming amounts of beeps on our telephone's. My mother in-law and my husbands family had been trying to reach us to let us know that my father-in-law had passed away. We were shocked, numbed...you can imagine.

This is one of my favorite mom albums that I created two years ago. It was completed using my favorite line from Webster's Pages. This is still the most meaningful mom album that I have done. Although you will see a bunch of pictures of mom's that I truly admire, and I absolutely love every page, there is another memory attached to this album.....the evening I completed this album, I was informed that an associate of mine had stolen over $2000 dollars worth of merchandise from me. Sad but true.

I can not even begin to tell you how crazy this sounds. You can have a fantastic memory of something or someone, yet attached to that memory, there can be something sad or horrible remembered also.

I have come to realize that life is like that. There is so much good that occurs in our lives, yet there are horrible and sad things that happen also. I truly believe that is a good thing. We appreciate the good because we know how sad or horrible the bad moments in life are. I have chosen to remember the good and the bad, because it makes me stronger and hopefully wiser. Everything even the minimum that occurs in our lives, is a lesson. The good and the bad can teach us something. These lessons can teach us to be better...because when we know better...we do better.

Here is to remembering and focusing on the good and the happy...and the bad and sad.

March is National Craft Month

Isn't that great? A whole month dedicated to crafts...that is just amazing. WOWSA...what an amazing weekend!!!!

I don't even know where to begin. I can not believe the amount of fun I had. I am still happy, smiling and full of PIXIE DUST!!!! LOL I went away with 4 of the most amazing women a girl could have the pleasure of calling sisters and friends. We were celebrating 4 birthdays...yes...I am still continuing celebrating mine (LOL). My sister Bethsy turned the big 40 and her wish was to go to Disney World and spend the day at the Magic Kingdom...MY FAVORITE PLACE!!! So of course I had to say YES!!! We began our trip with laughter and oh gosh...just eating some fantastic food on our way up to Orlando, Florida. You know on our way up, we ABSOLUTELY had to stop at one of my all time favorite scrapbook Store: CHERRY BLOSSOM. (for those of you who still do not know, this store is absolutely amazing. Michelle, the owner has some of the most up to date scrapbooking supplies on hand. I kid you not, as I was there paying my bill, boxes and boxes...I saw some basic grey...LOL..of new CHA 2011 merchandise was being delivered). You really should swing by...the trip to Broward County is worth the trip!!!!

Now I have got to share....when we got to the Magic Kingdom, we were laughing hysterically...yes, yes, yes we were...this lovely young lady asked us if we wanted our picture taken and we answered promptly of course..that way we could all be in the picture. DID I MENTION EMILY HAD THE BRILLIANT IDEA OF WEARING....what else but of course...PINK SHIRTS!!!!! I love that girl!!!! Ok..back to my story, after asking us a great deal of questions...(I thought for a moment this lady wanted to sell us a time share..although she was super nice and absolutely gracious...I wondered why all the questions?) Well while we are being interrogated...LOL...this guy is taking our pictures...a Disney photographer not a stalker. LOL...then all of a sudden out of the BLUE....the lovely young lady ask us..."I was wondering if you would like to be the Grand Marshall of our Parade today?"......
WHAT?
What did she just say? OH MY GOD!!! INSERT: 5 SCREAMING LATIN WOMEN IN PINK SHIRTS HERE!!!!!
Yup...we were so shocked...honored...tickled pink!!!!
I could not believe it and the pictures show the shock on all 5 of our faces!!! Can I just say....AMAZING!!!!!

This has been one of the most AMAZING experiences of my life. It was not on my list of 100 things to do before I die...but I did not know it was even possible to be the GRAND MARSHALL...did I mention...GRAND MARSHALL OF THE DISNEY PARADE? YUP...yes siree BOB...
Holy TOledo...I could give you all amazing details and they will go on and on and on and on...but I will try to be brief here as I have already shared a book...but let it be sufficient and let me just state that the experience was MAGICAL and AMAZING.
We got a peek at behind the scenes workings. ME AND WOODY...my favorite character...have something special going on here!!!! YUP!!!! Woody is my papasote!!!! He kissed my hand!!!! Sigh....what a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!! We got to see the parade at the end of our escorted ride and we have some amazing pics....I just can not load them here...LOL!!!! As soon as my savy and techie sister Margie helps me I will so post those babies.

Now in the SPIRIT of all things Disney...wanted to share these cutie patooties. Look at this Awesome ATC's. These were created by a lovely lady from CA named Karen. Her code name is: Renbear...how cute is that?

Happy Birthday...to me! :)

I am another year older today, and I feel fabulous. I really want to change a couple of things in my life by adding and purging too, but overall, I can honestly say I am a pretty happy Puertorican. LOL

The festivities began on Saturday...actually last week...my honies and I got to fit in a fantastic get-away. (Thanks Margie & Bethsy!!!) Believe it or not...I TOOK NO PICTURES...can you believe that? I know, I know...I can not believe it either. I had a fabulous time and I gotta tell you that it is so good to get away with your spouse...although we did not spend a ton of time together, as it was a working trip for him, he made ma laugh so hard. Yup..I am really in love with this guy. He still makes my heart pitter patter. :) OK...back to Saturday...the girls came over and celebrated my birthday....Lord, am I blessed. I have the best women in the world in my life, and I am lucky to call them...FRIENDS. Thank you ladies for taking the time and making me feel so special!!! I love you all!!! (I will post pics on this later on in the week as I am already creating some LO's.

I have been traveling quite a bit since the beginning of the year...hence the lack of posting on the blog...but I have a ton of pictures to share. Lots of great things going on. I will commence the Spanish Webminar on Thursday and continue the English on Friday. I will post the links for those who would like to join us. The March ATC Kit will be posted soon. Cute, cute, cute.

I want to take a moment and thank all you lovely ladies who participated in last nights live show. You had me cracking up!!! Congratulations to all the winners!!! It was definitely a family project...Elijah on the Camera, Jacqueline as our moderator...she definitely has the keys to the FREE GIFTS PILE ladies!!! LOL. Honestly I could not have pulled it off without RIOS. So thank you a million Mr. You are SO in 1st place and ZUTTER definitely comes in second..he,hee,ha.

As promised here are the pictures and cost for the ATC Kits. The Kits are $11.00 dollars and includes all the supplies to complete the 5 ATC cards. These are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis.
I will post the pictures of the rest of the kits tomorrow.

I have been asked a bunch of questions over the past few months and decided to go ahead and answer some of them and give a quick tutorial. HOW FUN IS THAT? Now here are some more CHA PICS. I took a class with the wonderful Donna Downey and made a mini album that she released at CHA with Prima.

This is her book. OK...my book does not look exactly like this...because I did not put pics on it..LOL...but it's close enough. I will be gifting this tonight to some lucky viewer so come on over and share my journey with me tonight.
This is a new paper line released at CHA. It comes from the UK, very reasonably priced as the paper pad goes for $18 dollars and the embellies were really quite DELISH!!!

You can see the paper patterns in the front of the pad. This pad in particular was beautiful. It had a BIRD print paper that was so pretty. My hands were itching to create SOMETHING!!

This is the Graphic 45 booth...aaahhhh...THE BOOTHS, THE BOOTHS...THE BOOTHS...have I mentioned the BOOTHS and their displays? Some of these booths were amazing, really works of art.

CHA 2011 continues...Here is some Jenni Bowlin for you. I got to tell you, her booth was very simple, yet the people there are so amazingly kind and helpful. The customer service you receive at the Jenni Bowlin Company is truly top notch...and I think that is worth mentioning. They speak to you as if you are the most important client they have ever had. This Company makes me VERY HAPPY!!!!...she does have amazing embellies too!!!! LOL

Hee, hee. That cracks me up. THE LOVE MONTH. I think every month should be a love month, but hey...we take our Holidays as they give them to us. :)

Beginning today, I will launch a VALENTINE or LOVE related Project for the rest of the month. This beauty was created by the lovely Ingrild Bolme.

I'm HOME!!!! BACK FROM CHA 2011

Wow...talk about sensory overload!!! I am a bit overwhelmed with the amazing eye candy and scrappy/crafty goodness I saw. CHA is really a big deal...it gives you a ton of amazing visuals...honestly, some of these lines...the pics we see on our computer screens..simply do not do them justice. I am going to try to begin sharing some pics. Tomorrow I have a little video for you..too funny.

Let me tell you, before the opening they had a lovely group of musicians with bag pipes...too cool. Candy Spelling helped cut the ribbon for the official opening of CHA 2011...sorry..forgot to take a picture as I was too awed by the HUGE scissors FISKARS created just for the ribbon cutting ceremony!!!
I am so glad I got to meet up with my wonderful friend Julie. She is truly one special lady. (LOVE MY BLOGGIE FRIENDS!!!!)

Making Memories had the coolest ribbons...ok...I know they call them something else, but I can not remember what they are...but oh my gosh...DELISH!!!!

THEY HAVE A TON OF THEM...FOR ALL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS!!!

CHANGES....& I'm OFF TO CHA in CALIFORNIA....

Good morning everyone. As many of you can see this blog is a bit under construction. We are currently making sure we get everything up to date and making it easier for you to purchase, acquire and access a lot quicker and safely. THIS IS A PROCESS and as many of you know, I am not electronically inclined so it takes me 10 times longer than it would the (normal) human being. I AM NOT JESTING HERE!!!! SO please BE PATIENT until we get our HOUSE IN ORDER.

I am getting ready and taking care of last minute details here. I hope to be able to capture some CHA goodness and post it on Friday night...don't know how late...but I am definitely going to try to do my best before midnight. SO KEEP POSTED MY BLOGGIE FRIENDS.

Wow...getting ready for CHA and other stuff

OK gang, although I have a ton of stuff to share with you, I have very little time for this post. I am getting ready for some major changes here. As you can see the blog is a bit under construction and we are adding some goodies and some fantastic new features...stay tuned!!! WHOO HOO!!

I will leave for LA, California to attend CHA tomorrow. I am so really going to try to post as I am there, and I will try to FLIP Video for you my lovely bloggie friends. They say that I can absolutely do this...so I am going to attempt it. I want to share some sneak peeks that are not the sneeky...LOL. This is some of the fantastic product that will be released this CHA SHOW from JENNI BOWLIN. Look at all this deliciousness!!

This stuff has already been ordered and will be used in upcoming classes. Can't wait to share.

I have been working on new projects for this year and am pleased with the outcome of my projects. I will be hosting my first event of this year on February 25 & 26, 2011. You can see the sidebar and all the info by tomorrow night...they are trying to post the pics and all the stuff pertinent to this event. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I am trying to get a lot done in a relatively short amount of time.

7 Gypsies GOODNESS

So much new stuff is in the air. I am excited with some changes and new adventures we are embarking on. I will so be posting on this this coming week. :)
Want to leave you with some new product that is heading our way.

These are a new release from 7 Gypsies. They are their take on Library drawers. DELISH. I have my mind wrapped around this project I am working on with these babies!!!! Can not wait to share.

These drawers are so beautiful. The possibilities on this little drawer are limitless!!!! This is on the calendar to teach for the beginning of March. We will begin posting the kits in the beginning of February. Stay tuned!!!

Another week is gone...and we have a theme!! WHOO HOO

Can you believe another week has simply flown by. It has certainly helped that I have been kept super busy. Lots of family and household stuff going on.

Now I have some great news to share...my daughter is turning 15 in approximately 14 months...LOL...I know, I know. Let me explain...for those of you who or not of Hispanic/Latino origin, we celebrate what is called "Quinces", which literally translates to 15's. It's a big deal to a lot of Hispanics and although I do not plan on spending $50,000.00 like Taylor on the Beverly Housewives, I will go all out for my darling daughter. I am thrilled, because after asking her for over a year and half what theme she wanted, she finally decided on Alice in Wonderland.

Did I mention that this absolutely thrills me? I gave her a birthday party with a hint of that theme last year, it was a totally generic party and I kept it to happy vibrant colors. So of course at this moment in time my mind is going in all directions with the endless possibilities of what I am going to create. I already have the invite done...just have to nail the colors.

OK gang...I am starting the year a bit under the weather still!!! But so many projects and crafty stuff going on...........IN MY HEAD...I took out some paper last night and was overwhelmed with so much paper goodness!!! :)

Have created quite a bit for the web shows I am launching this month and classes I will be hosting super soon. I Will announce all the goodness this Monday. :)

White is playing a major role right now...with accents of black and Kraft...
Looking into this for my own home...on a smaller scale. (I would so trade my big living room for this BIG kitchen....I spend most of my life in the KITCHEN!!!! LOL) So to tell you the truth I would trade the rooms in a Milli second!
Look at this crafty goodness. I am so loving that frosting. I have to post on this beautiful, talented lady this week...stay tuned.

Is it cold or what peeps? For those of you NOT LIVING IN SUNNY FLORIDA...can you please return our heat BACK!!! LOL.

Gotta leave you with some scrappy eye candy. This is one of the pages I did in my 10 page December Class. So glad I do this. I tend to catch up on Christmas fairly quickly with these classes. I help my customers scrap and I get my stuff done too. Can't beat that!!!

I HAVE GOT TO SHARE!!!! My daughter lovesss.....did I say LOVE with capital letters: BUDDY from Cake BOSS. She wrote this amazing letter to him and waiting anxiously for a reply. She would ask me every day...MOM...did I get anything? She actually drove me a little crazy. I really did not expect her to get anything back. Anyway we got something back today.

BEFORE OPENING ENVELOPE

"HIS" company or workers or SOMEONE...sent her a plain autographed card and a 5x7 postcard telling her to buy his book. She was a bit devastated. I felt so bad for her. She tells me I am so disappointed mom. I tried to explain to her that stars tend to get super busy...more so than us regular people and we are SUPER busy. That he probably never even read the letter. Most famous people have someone who reads their letters and answers them back for the person. I really tried to make it a positive moment for her.

(Now my true opinion is: I wish they had NEVER SENT HER ANYTHING....especially the flyer promoting his book. I have no problem with the flyer...just sending it to a KID who has just poured her heart out in a freaking letter!) Please note this is MOMMY speaking!!!! LOL

It is a lesson learned. I explained that in the future if she was ever in a position where children were writing to her...to remember this experience and do something differently.

BY THE WAY...I was planning on buying her the stupid book for Christmas, just waiting for it to get here at Barnes and Nobles...sad but true.

1. Putting up the main tree and the forest
2. Decorating the living room and dinning room
3. Beginning my December Daily..(will be posting on this daily beginning tomorrow).
4. Shopping with my momma
5. Working on the Scrapbooking yard sale.
I am tired already :)

Wow...what a weekend!

Thanksgiving was amazing. We had the most fantabulous time with family.

We began the day with breakfast at mom's.

Then went to the park where we celebrate our annual tradition with my aunt Celina.

She truly outdid herself. We had amazing food, hysterical games....

and spend some amazing time with family and friends.

This place had enough space for ALL OF US!!! :)

NOW...let's talk about BLACK FRIDAY!!!

YIKES!!! Did I mention that I have been going shopping on Black Friday since the 1800's? LOL

It was wild. I can honestly say that the dynamics for Black Friday have changed for sure. I have always been able to come home, sleep 6 hours and off I go by 3am. NOT THIS YEAR!!! I wanted to score some very BIG items and we left the house (at my husbands insistence) by 8:45pm. I waited in line at Target with a very good friend ALL NIGHT LONG!!! It was worth every single second. I was able to score the BIG item due to our buddy Edward. (THANK YOU EDWARD!!! I LOVE YOU TO PIECES BROTHER!!!)

I am gearing up for the holiday crazies. I LOVE THIS SEASON!!! I Have begun to decorate but am no where near where I would like to be. I will continue to post pics as the days go by.

It's almost here..

Busy with a ton of goodness here. Getting some shopping out of the waym abd getting ready for that major scrapbook yard sale coming up. BUT...I am most excited about getting ready to participate in my Aunt Celina's Thanksgiving FEAST!!!! (I am just showing up!!!) LOL

I am eternally grateful that MY FANTASTIC, BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, AND ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL Aunt CELINA Host this EXTRAORDINARY EVENT.
(that's Titi Puchy..as we call her, on the left in red)...Margie and Bethsy (my sis's). This was last year's Thanksgiving, and let me tell you something...this woman makes it better and better every year. She takes a week off to prepare this amazing feast for us. It is a labour of love!!! I promise to share pics of Thanksgiving this year!!! :)

So I began with a massive cleaning this weekend...I promise...I cleaned for 8 straight hours!!! Fans, walls, moving furniture..you know the works. I then began to decorate for Christmas THINKING that I would put up the tree...LOL...but I was ssooooooooo tired after cleaning, cooking and having guest over for dinner.

I AM GETTING READY HERE for the largest Scrapbook Yard Sale I have ever had.
I am seriously just wanting to get this stuff OUT OF HERE!!!!! I keep pulling stuff from EVERYWHERE!!!! I decided to keep dumping on the desk and as I go I stop every several hours bag a bunch of kits to sell and continue to make a mess. I HATE THIS!!! :(
But it has got to be done. So a lot of organizing and bagging going on here.
Believe it or not, I have already organized 4 large boxes and kitted at least 50 bags to sell. I have got to finish this room by tomorrow!!! I can not stand the mess!!!! I am getting this scraproom/business room in order !!!!

Christmas is definitely in the air here. BUT...before I get into that, let me finish my FALL HOLIDAYS first...LOL

I have a ton of pictures that I need to download and share. I am hoping to get into the swing of things by tomorrow...so hopefully I will not overload you with a ton of stuff I have done in the past couple of months.

Working on some Christmas presents....

Been working on some stuff as I am gifting quite a bit of things this year for Christmas...so wanted to make sure I get maybe a kind of sorta head start....LOL

This book is actually for me. I have wanted to celebrate a great deal of people in my life who have simply been NICE to me. So I took to stock of events and people that have done something NICE for me in the past....this is a journal of the amazing things these people have done for me. This is a work in progress....will update by the end of the year.
This is definitely a Christmas present...SSHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Will share more later.

So much has been happening in our family life and business too that I have not been able to keep up with this blog...I know..I know...if anyone is still out there...please let me know...LOL

I will start sharing a little bit today with something that I have wanted to do for a while now, and will host it beginning today: I want to do a tag swap. Please let me know if you are interested in doing this as I would like to swap tags in the month of November. Simply let me know if you are interested. The first ten people to sign on with me, will join this first round of tag swaps. I plan on doing one for Christmas time also.

Now onto some super fantastic BIG NEWS in our home.

My Jacqueline got Baptised. I am so very proud of my daughter. She not only has a Godly heart, but she is truly becoming a lovely young lady. Me and Rios are truly blessed and thank our Heavenly Father that HE chose to give us this beautiful soul to raise and nourish.

Funny Story: Jacqueline's face was not submerged completely, so our minister took his hand and pushed her face in the water helping her along the way...she later on shared that she thought she was going to be drowned by our Minister...LOL

So excited and yet soooo tired....isn't that the norm? There are many wonderful happy things going on I just can't keep up. I promise to make an effort and post pictures on the large amount of layouts and projects I have completed.

I am getting ready for a bunch of classes that I am launching within the next several weeks. I am super excited, nervous and boy oh boy....It's such a great feeling when you know something great is just going to happen.... :)

Now I HAVE JUST GOT TO SHARE: Look at this deliciousness!!! My lovely Sis' Margie is an awesome photographer. She shared the following with us and I just had to share with my peeps.

Of course it helps that the subjects are so cute you can eat them up...LOL....

Just have to brag a little about my little sis....she began her own Photography business called: Margie Bonilla Photography a little over 2 years ago...and I am just amazed how she has grown and has touched so many people's lives. It is great when you see someone you love so dearly accomplish their dreams. I am so proud of not only her but the talent God has given her.

If you are looking for a photographer to take pics, I HIGHLY recommend her. NOT BECAUSE SHE IS MY SIS....LOL!!!!....but because she has a great eye to capture the ordinary and make it extraordinary!!! You can view her work here and decide for yourself!!!

Are there any out there? LOL!!

I have had a fabulous Summer with my kids...OH HOW I HAVE ENJOYED these past few months. My children are getting older, wiser...way quicker than what I would like. So as you can see, I took quite a vacation from Bloggie land.

But, I'm baaaaaack. LOL

I have worked on some awesome, delicious, fantabulous projects that I am very proud of. I have even created a picture/journal mini....can you believe it? I am thrilled with my upcoming classes. I can't wait to share.

OK...let me get the eye candy out of the way. This was created by the amazing Janine Koczwara. I love the purple's and ohh...be still my heart...look at all those flowers!! YUMMO! :)
Now..here are some events coming your way....start saving those dates!!!!

I decided to celebrate a form of Scrap PINK...although officially we can not call it that, we will be celebrating this cause and monies collected at this event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I will be celebrating ("SAVE THE TATA'S!" LOL. I LOVE IT!!!!) with my buddy Nana at the Paper Tree House on September 25, 2010. It is actually a two day event with lots of goodies and fun in store for all who attend.

Croptoberfest 2010 is also in full swing. This event will be held on October 30, 2010. I expect this event to sell out as soon as I give you all the info...so make sure you respond immediately, as all spots are available on a first come first serve basis.

My annual Christmas Class/Crop will be hosted December 4, 2010. OOOhhhh...it's my favorite time of year...yipppeeee...I feel like it is right around the corner! So many wonderful goodies to give away at this crop. It has been a bit difficult for me to choose and pick since there are so many wonderful lines out there. :)

I have a new class schedule with some deliciousness coming next month. Lots of new product ordered and some major goodies coming soon.

I organized a ton of stuff this Summer and I am extremely happy with what I accomplished. I am in the middle of finishing my room as I will be hosting another Scrapbook Yard sale in a week or two...will post more on that. LOTS OF GOODIES AT SOME FANTASTIC PRIZES!!!!

Well, this is it for today. I am heading out with my kids....the count down has begun...I have 3 days left. :(

Not sure if I am going to get this...but if I do I promise to post all about it. It's interesting to see all the new gadgets that come out every year at CHA. It's actually crazy. It is obvious to anyone with half a COCO that it is impossible to keep up with all the scrap goodness out there.

Anyway, this is the Teresa Collins Stampmaker. What does it do you ask? Well, let me tell you...it makes stamps. I think I am going to have to play with it before I give you my final opinion. Yet, wanted to share that it is out there for those of you crazy stamp lovers.

Tuesday...what a beautiful day we have here in South Florida. I am about to head out and pick up some of my kids friends...spend the day at the pool have a picnic, go out and workout, eat pizza and go to the movies. Yup. That's how I will be spending my day. :)

SUmmer is fLyING awaY!!!!

OK...I can not believe that SUMMER is almost half way through for us. I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!! I have been having a great time with my kids. Lots of pool time, family outings and just plain Summer GRILLING!!! YUMMO!!! Mr. has a heavy traveling schedule this Summer, we have been having a lovely time. Lots of time talking, sharing and simply speding time together. LOVE THAT MAN!!!!

ALthough, I have taken a break from teaching large venues for the Summer, I have been busy with personal classes. I have met some lovely ladies and wanted to thank all those who have taken their Summer VAC. to take a class with me.....THANK YOU...YOU BEAUTIFUL WOMEN!!! I certainly hope you enjoyed it as much as me.

I have been impressed with some lovely things that so many of my customers are creating. Don't you love how the creative side just seems to come on out when you least expect it? LOVE THAT!!!!

I have completed 5 mini books since SUmmer began.....very happy with the outcome of all 5. I have also been working on my first love....12x12 scrapbook pages of course. I completed 18 pages this past week. Worked on the Flutter kit and the Jenni Bowlin...and of course on one of my FAV...the material girl kit. Will post pics soon...as soon as I find my camera cord! :)

Ok gang...I am so backtracking here....
My son Elijah turned 15 on June the 6th. It was a bitter sweet moment and the truth was it hit me 2 weeks before his graduation, that my son is now a Young man.
I asked my sister Margie for a photo session with my son. She sent me 8 proofs so that I could choose for the invitation...this are two of them.
This is so him. He is a very casual young man. He does not like big fusses and big hoopla's. He loves' his family with all his heart and loves to spend time with them.

I of course cried my head off when I saw my son...he was no longer a little boy.. WHEN DID HE BECOME A young man? It kind of hits you and you don't even realize that they are growing up...in front of your very own eyes.

I only pray that God continues to give me the wisdom and courage needed to guide this wonderful gift that God has bestowed me.

Happy Birthday MOM!!!

Today we celebrated my moms' birthday. (Although, the official family celebration will be on Tuesday). We got some shopping done and had a really nice lunch at the Falls. I enjoy spending time with her...although she thinks about my dad 24/7 when we are out and about, and worries about him like crazy, we spent a great Saturday morning and afternoon together.

I will share some of the photos/layouts on this this week.

I can not believe this month is almost over. I can not!!! I have had so much going on. It has been crazy!!!
We are on Summer vacation...WHOO HOOO!!!!!!
My son turned 15.
My son graduated and is now officially in high school. OMG!!! TEARS HERE :(

So many milestones in our lives and honestly...I am just loving this walk of life. Although I apologize that I have not blogged consistently....I have been living gals. Simply living.

Hi gang.

I sure hope all is going well. I am in Central Florida this week taking care of some business, teaching some fun classes, visiting some friends, and actually scrap booking my little heart away. TONS of pages done. Unfortunately I had to stop scraping because I ran out of adhesive...can you believe that? I had 5 adhesive refills with me...what the heck is that all about? (I guess 42 pages does take quite a bit of adhesive...LOL)

I am so sorry, but I can't post any pictures. :( I have no idea how to download on this borrowed computer...so therefore, you are all going to have to wait until Friday when I get back home.

I have some delicious stuff waiting back home for you lovely ladies. Jenni Bowlin is all in. WHOO HOO!!! The add on kit is in also. I am not sure about the albums, but those will probably be in some time this week. Will keep you posted on that.

I just realized yesterday that Father's Day is this Sunday. Holy Toledo...where did the time go? I can not believe it. Thank goodness I have Saturday to handle business. It's all good. Although I do remember a time when I used to have every one's presents, cards and party supplies a good 3 months ahead of the date...........those were the good old days..hehee,ha.

I am so looking forward to this weekend. I have 3 days full of scrapping at my house...and maybe Vane's. I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!! WHOO HOO!!!

Here is another set of Layouts that I will be teaching at the Paper House. I can't wait. I love this layout. The yellow LO was a semi scraplift from Ady or Vane...I can't remember who.
The layout is not completely finished as I will add another title and will be doing that at the end of the class. I also will be adding a mini bingo card on the yellow LO on the bottom of the right hand side.

Avignon in the house

I thought I share some of the layouts I did with the Avignon Collection. Although the original kit was used in an 8x8 Album, I did complete six 12x12 layouts for my scrapbookers.

I used some really old pics that my sister Margie gifted me quite a while ago. (it was actually Christmas 2008...she made copies of a ton of pictures of my childhood...it has been one of the best gifts I have ever gotten!)

As many of you know, I love pockets and tags, but I wanted the layout to look MANLY...hee,hee. I used journaling tags which was really great as these pictures are from different time periods. I also cut up some pics that had a ton of dead space in them and was able to use them as tags.

Disney is back...

I have not done a Disney Layout in a really long time. I do mean LONGGGGGG Time. I will be teaching this double spread LO at the Paper Tree House Studio on June 21, 2010. I had a really hard time creating this critter...I think I was just overwhelmed with wanting to create a "DISNEY" looking layout.

One of the things that I have always tried to teach, is that you do not necessarily have to have a themed sticker or paper to bring the feel of a place, person or thing to life in your layouts. By using colors you can bring the memory or the object to life.

As you can see, I used red, black, white and yellow...all represent that cutie pie Mouse that we all know from our childhood. Polka dots is always a good thing to work with when doing Disney layouts.

I challenged myself to use three different overlays to complete this layout and the truth is at the end of the day, it was fun to see how I could make all three work.

I will have these on sale after the 21st. Keep an eye out!!! Hope this inspires you to create something fun.

Day in a life project and other stuff

I love this show. It is so darn good. I don't watch too much TV, but let me tell you something, I sit down to watch this one. Love the cast, the songs, the dance numbers. I have been seeing it since the first episode and I crack up at the antics and irreverence...especially that horrible Sue making cracks about hair and hair products. FUNNY!!!
Now, here is something I did...it was my take on a layout I found...I will have to owe you the original one.... :) SORRY, the pic is pretty horrible, but you get the idea.

This is what I have GOT to finish today. These are the goodie bottles that every girl gets for Jacqueline's birthday. CUTE!!!!

This is Saturday's 10 page class. Love this paper. Too darn cute. Will post pictures later on the class.

Jacqueline is still not feeling good and the fever continues. Dr. said to bring her in today at 2. So stinks that my little girl is sick.... :(

Please send a prayer for Jacqueline...hopefully she will get better real soon.

But the birthday girl is sick.....really sick. I am going to have to take her to the doctors today as it seems that her fever does not want to go away. 24 hours is enough for me.

I hate seeing my kids sick...(Just like any mother would I am sure) so to make me a little happier, I am going to share some happy pics of my Birthday girl.

She cracks me up. :)

I am still working on birthday stuff and am attempting to do that Ali Edwards project that my friend Ady and Maritza are doing....I am attempting it...ATTEMPT being the operative word.

Love that I am starting a new week. Weekend was super busy but had a fantastic time with some truly lovely ladies. I am so lucky to be surrounded by the MOST FABULOUS WOMEN!!!!

It is going to be a super busy week, as I have 6 days to get my daughter's birthday party together...it's on Sunday...hee,hee, hee.

ORGANIZING THE ROOM FROM HELL....

This pink room has been driving me crazy...I don't even want to post a picture...because IT'S THAT BAD!!!

Look how pretty this is....I am thinking about doing this for my lovely daughter's party next week. I have not a single thing...but hey...I have 6 days before the party as of MONDAY.... :)
I am getting ready for another Scrapbook Sale. I am thinking about opening this up to my bloggie friends.....I have to see the logistics...will keep you posted.

I have to do my daughter's invitations by Sunday morning...but I have the Scrapbook Yard sale from 10am to 4pm, tomorrow and then I have an engagement...lovely plans actually...will share later on this too. Sunday, I have been gifted a lovely gift that is learning something new...will blog later about this and then I have to get home because my MAN is hosting a Bar-B-Q, for some lovely friends...a group of 12 to 15 peeps....I'm tired and the weekend has not officially begun for me.

GOTTA go girls...the Pink Room is awaiting me.

SCRAPBOOK DESINGS RETREAT 2010

My lovely ladies and fellow Scrapbook Retreat attendees....

Due to large request I have received in the last several months, I have made some changes to the retreat to make it more feasible for you.

The cost of the retreat HAS GONE DOWN $120.00 dollars. With that being said, the retreat stay has been shortened. We will remain with the same format as the previous year. The Scrapbooking Retreat will run from FRIDAY, September 10, 2010 to SUNDAY, September 12, 2010. Also, the meal plan has changed.

We will be staying in the beautiful Mission Inn Resort and Club as stated previously.
The surroundings are absolutely beautiful...although most of you will be scrapbooking to your hearts content, the Resort does host a slew of amenities for your delights.

The hotel does provide a private shuttle service for an additional cost, but you must schedule it in advance. The closest airport to the Resort is Orlando International and it is approximately a 30 minute drive. There are also two smaller airports near...The Sanford International Airport and Leesburg International Airport...although I believe one of them is semi-private.

Everyone attending will be staying in a deluxe room as pictured below. Ok, girls, you have spoken...and I listened.

You must let me know if you plan on attending and begin sending in your deposits by the end of this month. I have some spots open that will be available on a first come first serve basis.

I made this album for a class I taught at the Scrapbook Retreat in 2009. I really needed to finish the darn thing, and I promised myself to finish it off by this Sunday. Will show you the COMPLETED PROJECT...hopefully by Monday.

I love Wester's Pages. Their papers are sssooooooooooo beautiful!!! I LOVE.....did I mention..LOVE pockets? I am thrilled when I find a pretty card or a journal with a hidden pocket. It makes me feel like an extra goodie is hiding somewhere in there. :)

I dedicated this album to mother's I admire....so I guess it's fitting that Mothers Day is almost here....hopefully I will keep the promise I made to myself and finish the darn thing!!!

Just have to share ladies....

My husband ministered (preached, gave the sermon) this morning in church. It was really amazing...The title of the message was....Destined for greatness.

I have to share that my husband Richard is truly gifted in the word. He not only has an incredible amount of knowledge of the Bible, but he has a gift to make the word of God come the life with his words. I realize this is a gift from GOD. (WE ALL HAVE GIFTS!!! His is teaching.

This picture was not of today, but my brother-in-law, Irving and Rios make an amazing team. I so blessed that these two men are an integral part of my family. They are Godly men. NOT PERFECT!!!! Not the same thing ladies. They are simply amazing.
I can honestly say that, not only do I admire my husband but have a deep respect for him...for the man he has become.
This is just a fun pic.

I can not believe that my baby girl is 13 years old!!! Sera posible? My sweet Jacqueline has begun her teenage years...(PRAY FOR ME PEOPLE) :)
Due to the date her birthday falls, (SPRING BREAK) she will have her birthday party with her friends at the end of the month......(I JUST NOTICED THAT MY PICS ARE BLURRY....sigh)Guess what these are..........

Yup...an Alice in wonderland or maybe a Mad hatters Tea Party......is coming her way. I will so post on this....I already have my scrapbook paper ready to go for this party....He,hee,hee.

Sharing some layouts here....

Thought I share some of my work from the past.

I did this layout in November for a 10 page class that I had.
I did this two page spread for my local scrapbook store. Can you see how I used the same concept from the top layout and used on on this bottom right one? Looks different, doesn't it? It's really the flower placements.

I love this Websters Line. Make me SUPER HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

Can't remember if I shared this one, but here it is...it's all parf of another 10 page class that I had at the retreat. I also did a mini album on this one...well not that mini is turned out to be an 8x8x. I'll try to post pics on that this week.

And this pic is just because..they are so damn cute....LOL
